ClothingWorks is hosting a Winter Coat & Accessories Donation Drive & Giveaway in several of our communities, Sponsored by the Westmount Shopping Centre.
The Goodwill Industries-ClothingWorks program is growing, and we are recruiting volunteer wardrobe consultants to help advise our clients and build their confidence, by giving them encouragement, positive reinforcement, through access to appropriate clothing, enabling them to make a great first impression in their job search and achieve their goals.
Shirley Pierce is the volunteer team lead at ClothingWorks in London, Ontario. She’s a former teacher with a passion for volunteer work, and Shirley has been working with the ClothingWorks program for 5 years. She began by donating to the program, and eventually inquired about becoming a volunteer when ClothingWorks moved to Goodwill.
